Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Grassland butter
- 1 large squash
- 1 pinch sea salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Optional:
- ½ cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup favorite canned sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Carefully halve spaghetti squash lengthwise.
- Use a large spoon to scrape out the seeds, and stringy parts of the squash.
- Brush the clean squash with melted butter, salt, and pepper. Place open-faced down on baking
- sheet. Roast for 45 minutes, or until squash is tender. Remove from oven and let stand for 5-10 minutes.
- Once slightly cool, flip squash flesh-side up and use a fork to scrape out the “spaghetti” strings.
