Ingredients
- 1 ½ tablespoons Grassland butter
- 4 cups apple cider
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 4 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 lemon peel
- Peel and juice from 1 orange
- 1 inch piece ginger root sliced
- 1 ½ ounces 1 shot rum
Instructions
- Melt butter in a medium-size saucepan.
- Add apple cider, brown sugar, cloves, cinnamon, lemon and orange peels, orange juice, and ginger. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then remove the pan from heat.
- Add rum. Let the liquid steep for at least 30 minutes.
- Reheat to serve warm.
