Cowboy Butter Sauce

Slather this on anything moving.

Materials

  • 2 sticks of unsalted Grassland Butter melted
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 small shallot minced
  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of prepared Horseradish
  • A pinch of Cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons of chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly chopped chives
  • 2 teaspoons of minced Thyme
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Melt 2 sticks of butter in a saucepan.
  • Combine lemon juice, garlic, shallot, mustard, horseradish, cayenne, and paprika. Whisk.
  • Stir in parsley, chives and thyme. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve with grilled meats, potato wedges or cornbread.
