Chocolate Butter Icing

So creamy, so yummy, so simple.

Materials

  • 6 tablespoons of Unsalted Grassland Butter
  • 2⅓ cups of confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup of dark chocolate cocoa powder
  • cup of whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  • Beat butter for one minute on medium setting of stand mixer until it is smooth.
  • Add confectioners sugar and cocoa powder to the bowl and beat until combined.
  • With the stand mixer running on low, slowly stream the milk and vanilla extract into bowl.
  • Add salt and continue beating until well combined. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  • Increase the speed to high and beat mixture for 2 more minutes.
  • Use the frosting immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
