Brown Butter Pears
Brown buttery sweetness with a hint of cinnamon spice.

- 3 firm ripe Bartlett pears
- 2 tablespoons of salted Grassland Butter
- 1/4 cup of packed brown sugar
- A pinch of cinnamon-to-taste
- 1 Thyme sprig
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Combine peeled and sliced pears with brown sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl; gently toss to coat fruit.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat; add thyme sprigs. Cook for a minute, constantly stirring until butter just starts to brown.
Remove thyme sprigs and discard.
Add coated pear slices to the pan with the brown butter and continue to stir until fruit is softened and slightly caramelized, approx. 20 minutes.
Squeeze fresh lemon over top, serve over hot waffles, pancakes or ice cream.
