Ingredients
- 3 firm ripe Bartlett pears
- 2 tablespoons of salted Grassland Butter
- 1/4 cup of packed brown sugar
- A pinch of cinnamon-to-taste
- 1 Thyme sprig
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- Combine peeled and sliced pears with brown sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl; gently toss to coat fruit.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat; add thyme sprigs. Cook for a minute, constantly stirring until butter just starts to brown.
- Remove thyme sprigs and discard.
- Add coated pear slices to the pan with the brown butter and continue to stir until fruit is softened and slightly caramelized, approx. 20 minutes.
- Squeeze fresh lemon over top, serve over hot waffles, pancakes or ice cream.
